Nenagh Éire Óg Weekly Notes

Senior: Liam Heffernan’s senior hurlers will take on Portroe in the quarter-finals of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Sunday, September 27th at 2pm - this contest will form the first part of a double header which also features the clash between Thurles Sarsfields and Clonoulty-Rossmore (throw-in at 3.30pm). The entire panel have worked hard in preparation for this game and would appreciate your support.

Under-21A: The under-21A hurling team will face Roscrea in the opening round of this year’s championship. The fixtures schedule for that competition have not been released as of yet. This year the under-21A hurling team will be managed by Greg Browne (manager), Con Morris and Michael McNamara. The 2015 Walsh’s of Nenagh North Tipperary Under-21A Hurling Championship will be run on a knock-out-loser’s-group system. Éire Óg have been drawn against Roscrea in the opening round. Kilruane MacDonagh’s will face Ballina in a preliminary round game while the remaining first round games will see Kildangan face the winner of the Kilruane versus Ballina game and Toomevara take on Newport Gaels.
