Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 21/11/2016

Nenagh Eire Og players who won Munster and All Ireland minor titles with Tipperary in 2016 at the medal presentation recently. L-R: Ruth Hassett, Sarah Quigley, Grace O Brien, Hazel McAuliffe and Maeve Coffey.

AGM: The camogie club AGM is penciled in for Wednesday December 7th at 8pm in the clubhouse.

PRESENTATION: Congratulations to Grace O Brien, Sarah Quigley, Maeve Coffey, Hazel McAuliffe and Ruth Hassett who received their Munster and All Ireland minor medals recently which they won playing with Tipperary in 2016. We also send our congratulations to Grace O Brien who was awarded the Intermediate Club Player of the Year award, a tremendous and well deserved honour after her amazing performances all year.


GAMBLING AWARENESS EVENING: Nenagh Eire Og Healthy Club Project invites you to an evening with Justin Campbell and Niall McNamee in the Abbey Court Hotel on Wednesday 7th December at  7.30 pm. This event is open to members/players from all clubs and the wider community.  Admission free. Former Galway hurler Justin Campbell is a trained addiction counsellor who combines his working life and coaching hurling teams with very active membership of the GAA’s National Health and Wellbeing Committee. Niall McNamee has played inter county football with Offaly for the past fourteen years. He is a player engagement officer for the Gaelic Players Association and also one of their mental health ambassador’s specialising in addiction recovery, specifically gambling.
