Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 18/05/2015

Junior A: Congratulations to our junior-A side which captured our very first junior-A league title after a titanic battle against Thurles Sarsfields. It was a great game that encapsulated all that is good about camogie. For a full match report please see our website www.nenagheireog.com

Under 12: Well done to our under-12 team who defeated Newport last week. They played Kilruane on Monday. We didn't have the result at the time of going to press.

Under 8: Our under 8 team took part in a blitz in Toomevara on Saturday last. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful days fun.

Street League: Our street league comes to an end this week. We wish to thank Christy McLoughlin, Martin Morris, Michael McNamara and Michael Heffernan for all their hard work in organising what proved to be a hugely successful event.

Tipp GAA Draw: The North Tipperary launch of the Tipp GAA Draw took place in the Nenagh Éire Óg complex at MacDonagh Park on Wednesday, April 22nd. For the past twenty-seven years the Tipperary GAA Draw has served the clubs and the people of Tipperary well. A unique Nenagh Éire Óg branded brochure has been produced to promote this year’s draw. The Tipperary GAA Draw features an extraordinary €500,000 prize fund. And, don’t forget that your club, Nenagh Éire Óg, benefits significantly from contributions to the Tipperary GAA Draw. Indeed, the draw committee has introduced major increases in commission for the coming year. Should you wish to join the draw or renew your subscription to the Tipperary GAA Draw please contact any club officer or email eireognenagh@gmail.com.
