Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 13/06/2016

The u 8s took part in a county blitz at the Ragg on Saturday and Nenagh took 2 teams to the event . Ciara Johnston the county development officer has been organising these events and they have been a great success . The Nenagh Eire  Og ladies won 5 out of the six games playing very well indeed and most importantly enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

The u 10 and u 12s travelled together to play Burgess and had a great morning playing together coming out of Kilcoleman with a great win.

The u 14 team are continuing their preparations for the Feile this weekend. Tipperary Minor player Jake Morris took the training session on Sunday morning and the girls enjoyed training with him. The planning for the weekend of festivities is ongoing with Nenagh hosting  Bunclody of Wexford and the many other clubs that are staying in the locality.

The club have organised a race night on Friday night in The Hibernian Inn followed by music by Mike Healy and Vincent Savage to open the weekend. The club would like to thank the Hibernian Inn for sponsoring the Tracksuit tops and Pat Carey refrigeration for the polo tops.

The games for the weekend are Friday 17 June Ballinderry Nenagh  Eire Og v Lucan Sarsfields at 4 and Nenagh v Shannon Rovers same venue at 5.45 and on Saturday Nenagh v Bunclody at 11.30 .

Further fixtures will be on this site and on the Nenagh Eire Og Facebook page depending on how we do. We would encourage all parents and indeed grandparents to attend the events and games of the weekend as the Feile is known for the fun and friendships formed for life.

Best of luck to all of our players doing state exams at the moment.

Yours sincerely Séamie Morris 12/06/16
