Give a Gift as Gaeilge this March

Bronntanas as Gaeilge. Give a Gift as Gaeilge this March!

Tá Glór na nGael ag eagrú Scéim Bronntanas as Gaeilge i rith Mí Márta 2017, agus tá siopaí ar fud na tíre páirteach ann. Tá aonaid taispeántais agus díolacháin curtha ar fáil do siopaí le mana na scéime orthu – “ Bronntanas as Gaeilge- Give a Gift as Gaeilge”.
Cuirfear réimse leathan de chluichí boird Gaeilge agus bréagain ar fáil leis na seastáin, agus é i gceist go spreagfar díolacháin earraí Gaeilge i rith Seachtain na Gaeilge & i rith na bliana.

Arsa Lorcán Mac Gabhann, Ceannasaí Ghlór na nGael, “Is léiriú iontach maith an scéim seo, ar tháirgíocht agus fiontraíocht trí Ghaeilge agus ag an am chéanna ardaíonn sé infheictheacht na Gaeilge sa saol trádála.” Má tá suim ag siopaí páirt a ghlacadh sa Scéim Bronntanas, is féidir teagmháil a dhéanamh le Cabríní de Barra ar cabrini@glornangael.ie nó 083-4455914. Beidh an scéim ar siúl arís roimh Nollaig 2017.

Arsa Cabríní de Barra, Oifigeach Forbartha le Ghlór na nGael, ‘Tá an t-ádh leis Co Thiobraid Árann go mbíonn cluichí, leabhair & earraí Gaeilge éagsúla ar fáil i rith na bliana i siopa Chonradh na Gaeilge, An tAonach. Tugann an Scéim Bronntanas as Gaeilge deis aird a tharraingt ar seo.”  Tá siopa Chonradh na Gaeilge suite i nDún Mhuire, 50 Sráid an Phiarsaigh, i lár an Aonaigh agus bíonn sé ar oscailt Luan go Aoine ó 9:30 go 17:00.

Glór na nGael is once again organising their Scéim Bronntanas as Gaeilge campaign. The campaign will run during the month of March 2017, with retailers throughout the country taking part. Dedicated point of sale display units, bearing the motto “Bronntanas as Gaeilge - Give a Gift as Gaeilge” have been supplied to the retailers, complete with a wide range of Irish Language gifts and games. It is hoped that the scheme will inspire people to purchase Irish Language items.

According to Glór na nGael CEO, Lorcán Mac Gabhann “This scheme is an excellent example of manufacturing and entrepreneurship as Gaeilge; and it also adds to the visibility of Irish in the marketplace”

If shops would like to take part in the scheme & require a display unit for their business, they may contact Cabríní de Barra on 083 4455914 or cabrini@glornangael.ie. The scheme will take place again in the lead up to Christmas 2017.

Cabríní de Barra, Development Officer with Glór na nGael noted that “Co Tipperary is fortunate that games, books and other Irish language goods are available throughout the year in the Conradh na Gaeilge shop in Nenagh. The Gift a Gift as Gaeilge Scheme provides an opportunity to highlight this”. The shop is situated in Dún Mhuire, 50 Pearse Street in the heart of Nenagh and is open from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17:00.
