Back in August this year there was a very successful Gleeson Clan Gathering in and around Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, the heartland of Gleeson territory. You can view the various presentations of our Lecture Programme on the dedicated YouTube Channel

Thirty five people had their DNA tested at the Gleeson Clan Gathering and the last of those results recently became available. Twelve men did the Y-DNA test and I have recently finished analysing their data. As a result, I was able to update the "family tree" for Lineage II (the North Tipp Gleeson's). There are now six distinct sub-branches of Gleeson's in this group which seems to go back to about 1000 AD. You can find a summary of these results in these two recent blog posts:
