Job Description:
Nenagh CTC provides training and education options to meet the needs of young people from the local area who left school early or who left with insufficient education, qualifications. Programmes are designed to enhance each learner's opportunities to learn new skills and achieve the certification necessary for progression into employment, further training or continued education. The Board of Directors invites applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals for the positions of: Temporary Art Instructor: (13.5 Hours) 3 Month Contract Applicants should be able to demonstrate: • A recognised degree level qualification or equivalent. • The delivery of training modules and programmes for learners of the Nenagh Community Training Centre. • Candidates should have skills and experience of working with young people aged 16-21 and be energetic and flexible in approaches and methodologies. • Training, assessment and monitoring of learner course work to 001 level 3 & 4 standards. • Prepare and maintain training and certification records. • Work with management to ensure that programme standards are maintain.. • Direct supervision of learners. • Assisting with the planning, development and implementation of CTC services within the training standards system. • Develop individual learner progression plans where appropriate. • Schedule and conduct the relevant assessments upon completion of training modules. • Be resourceful, self-motivated and enjoy a challenging work environment. • An awareness of 001 and the National Framework of Qualifications. This post salary is €31,652 (Pro Rata)
