Town Hall Cinema presents the Swedish comedy film ‘100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared’ on Thursday 2nd of April at 8pm
Based on the internationally best-selling novel by Jonas Jonasson, this is the unlikely story of a 100-year-old man who decides it’s not too late to start over. For most people it would be the adventure of a lifetime, but dynamite expert Allan Karlsson’s unexpected journey is not his first. For a century he’s made the world uncertain, and now he is on the loose again.
Skirting between timelines – past and present, we get the sense that Allan is a man who’s lived a lot and had a substantial amount of fun in doing it. This is a great comedy somewhat in the style of ‘Forest Gump’ or ‘Zelig.’
The film screens at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 2nd . Adm. is €8 This film is certified 15A. Tickets at the the door.
