Urban Kicks Dance Thurles in association with Spleodar present ‘Alice in Wonderland’ style dance workshops with Deirdre Dempsey on Wednesday 28th October. Taking place in the New Institute this fun and festive workshop will cover hiphop, lyrical and commercial dance styles. (Adm €5) Not to be missed are the Comedy Workshops with Punch Lion comedy in Nenagh Arts Centre on Wednesday 28th October. (10am/12noon/2pm, Adm €8). The workshops will teach children comedy skills used in stand-up comedy including comedy improvisation, sketches, comedy acting, silly story-telling and ridiculous songs. It will be followed by a family friendly stand-up comedy show MC’d by Andrew Stanley from Dublin’s Laughter Lounge (5pm - Adm €8 Family ticket €30).
