Our Philosophy:

We aim to provide a comprehensive, professional service for everybody. All our patients are treated in a friendly and caring environment. Our staff members regularly participate in continuing professional development in order to provide the public with an excellent standard of care using state of the art equipment and techniques.

We understand that many people are apprehensive when they attend a dental practice. We endeavour to alleviate anxiety and make every visit as pleasant as possible.

A comprehensive price list is posted in the office.

If you have a medical card and are at least 16 years old, many treatments are free of charge. If you have PRSI cover, you can get a free check-up every year

The Types of Dental Services we provide:

Teeth Cleaning

General Dentistry: General dentistry is about ensuring that the patient has good oral hygiene and dental health. The dentists use restorative dental procedures to remedy the effects of cavities, gum disease, tooth decay, trauma and defects in the patient's mouth.

Cosmetic Dentistry: Cosmetic Dentistry is ideal for patients who want to improve the appearance of their teeth. It can improve both the appearance and the self-esteem of patients. We are happy to give advice on all aspects of cosmetic dentistry.

Wisdom Teeth: One of the procedures we offer, at The Doves clinic is the removal of wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth are the third molar teeth. They are the last of the permanent teeth to develop.

Root Canal Treatment: There are three reasons why root canal treatment is necessary. Firstly, if the nerve and blood vessels in the middle of the root (the dental pulp) are inflamed or degenerating, then pain (sometimes severe) may result. Secondly, if the dental pulp degenerates completely, the root canal is empty and usually becomes infected inevitably causing an abscess. This infection can spread and be painful. Thirdly, it is sometimes necessary to do a root canal treatment if it is the only way to get anchorage for a large filling or crown.
