Collins Bakery was 1st started in Dublin in the 1960’s, where Michael Snr opened his bakery with his wife Teresa. Both had a passion for quality confectionery and ran a very successful business for many years. But they always had a yearning to bring their love of baking back to Michael’s home town of Nenagh, so in 1970 they started Collins Bakery on Kenyon Street.

Today Michael Collins Jnr & his wife Joan still run the family business with their love for baking and making everything by hand.

All the Cakes & Pastries are baked daily on the premises at Kenyon Street from scratch. The recipes have remained unchanged and are still satisfying the delicious need s of our customers.

As well as our large selection of delicious Pastries and Cakes, we offer fresh sandwiches and Bewley’s Coffee and Speciality Tea’s in nice comfortable seating and relaxed atmosphere with quality service.
Our Cakes vary from Victoria Sponges, Butter Sponges, Black Forest Gateaux, Madeira, Fruit (both rich and light) as well as Homemade Buns and Éclairs. Fresh cream is used in all our cakes.
